The Beth Radom Sisterhood and Brotherhood are integral to the life and spirit of the Shul. They provide a sense of community and organize a wide range of events.
The Sisterhood
The Sisterhood has hosted such wonderful events as:
- The widely successful ‘Shabbatini’. Themed Friday evening events including cocktails, services and a light dinner.
- Channukah and Purim celebrations that are consistent hits. Not only do all the kids have fun, but the parents prove they still have the moves on the dance floor.
- An evening of cooking with well known food author Norene Gilletz.
- Presentation/Workshop by HEALTH and MOTION, and information sessions by JACS. We learned about an organization dedicated to helping Jewish friends and families achieve recovery in a nurturing Jewish environment, and to promote an understanding of the disease of addiction and alcoholism in the Jewish community.
The Brotherhood
Join the Brotherhood for such fun and informative gatherings as:
- A fun filled afternoon of skating and pizza.
- An evening of Poker with the Rabbi and Cantor – winnings go to the Shul Tzedaka fund.
- A Lag B’Omer BBQ and Bonfire.
- Learning to Daven and lead daily services.
We invite you to participate in the Beth Radom Congregation Sisterhood and Brotherhood. It’s a great way to meet new people and increase your involvement in making our Shul a warm and inviting community.
